About the Role

We have set the goal to provide our customers with the highest level of safety while using our fully autonomous vehicles. To help fulfill that goal, the Energy and Aerodynamics attributes group works to ensure our vehicles operate energy efficiently, understanding where each kilowatt-hour of energy goes and developing features to reduce energy consumption. A key part of that process is data engineering and analysis—using real data from the fleet to understand and measure the impact of our work on fleet-wide energy consumption. In this role, you’ll be the lead data engineer and analyst for all energy metrics, building both the data foundation as well as business reporting layers.
