We are seeking an experienced Onsite End-User Computing (EUC) Migration Specialist to support a critical multi-site workstation and identity migration initiative across nine U.S.-based distribution centers. This is a 9-week, 100% field-based contract requiring extensive travel to all nine locations.
In this role, you will serve as the on-the-ground execution, validation, and issue-resolution resource. You will coordinate closely with a remote migration consultant who handles centralized cutover activities. Your primary mission is to ensure workstation migrations, Active Directory joins, and user access transitions are completed successfully with minimal business disruption.
Your work will be fast-paced and execution-focused, centered around active migration windows. You will systematically move through designated areas of each distribution center, monitoring the onsite progression of migrations while validating that devices are successfully joined to the target Active Directory or tenant.
You will act as the primary onsite point of contact, providing real-time support to users experiencing login issues or access problems. A significant portion of your time will involve troubleshooting technical challenges, such as those related to the Quest Desktop Update Agent, and documenting progress or escalations for the remote team. This role demands the ability to work calmly in live cutover scenarios while maintaining clear communication with local site contacts and project leadership.
