About the Role
We are seeking a Center Medical Specialist to join our family-like culture at one of our plasma donation centers. This role is ideal for those looking for something different who want to leverage their medical skills to make a tangible impact. As the medical backbone of the center, you will perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability. Beyond clinical duties, you will build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction, provide education on general health, and counsel donors regarding test results.
You will work in a dynamic environment where you evaluate donor history, manage injuries and adverse events, and assist in employee training. The position requires a balance of standing and sitting, precise hand movements, and the ability to communicate sensitive information to diverse groups. While the work involves exposure to biological fluids and specific environmental conditions like extreme cold in plasma freezers, we prioritize safety with required personal protective equipment.
