About the Role
The Center Medical Specialist is a vital role within our plasma donation centers, designed for those seeking a different path in their medical career. Whether you are an EMT Basic, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic, your unique skill set makes you a valuable candidate for this position.
In this role, you will serve as the medical expert at the center, performing physical examinations and establishing medical histories to determine donor suitability. You will build strong rapport with donors to ensure overall customer satisfaction while providing education on general health and counseling regarding test results. The role involves evaluating donor injuries and adverse events, ensuring confidentiality, and assisting in employee training and vaccine programs. You will work in a dynamic environment where you relate sensitive information to diverse groups and manage variable demands within a plasma center setting.
