About the Role
The mission of this position is to compassionately deliver high-quality service and basic patient care in a professional, caring, and cost-effective manner. As an EMT within the EMS Health Care System, you will serve as a vital link in the chain of survival, providing competent patient care in both pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
You will be expected to operate safely and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment while adhering to all applicable protocols for emergency treatment and transportation. Your role involves communicating patient information effectively to other members of the health care profession and managing the proper chain of command to report to management and colleagues. Additionally, you will ensure accurate and complete documentation of all required information for the Company, the Department of Health, and the EPAB, including PCR forms, daily vehicle inspections, and equipment inventories.
This position requires a commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on upgrading skills and knowledge within the emergency medical profession. You will demonstrate physical ability to perform all necessary tasks, including lifting and moving patients, and maintain the cleanliness of company property, including vehicles, equipment, and buildings.
