As an EMS Instructor, you will be a key partner in the development and coordination of our training programs. Reporting to the EMS Education Coordinator, you will help shape the professional growth of our workforce by managing initial certification and continuing education courses. This role is designed for a dynamic educator who can work independently to plan, organize, and direct EMS training operations.
In this position, you will serve as a lead instructor for volunteer EMT and Paramedic Academy classes, while also supporting the Department Recruit Academy. Your day-to-day impact involves evaluating the effectiveness of training programs, assisting with the Continuous Quality Improvement Program, and serving as a Field Training Officer. You will bridge the gap between complex medical concepts and practical application, ensuring that our providers are ready for the field.
