The Employment Specialist (IPS CSP) serves as a vital bridge between individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and the local workforce. In this role, you will develop strategic employer partnerships to identify and customize job opportunities, effectively marketing the unique skills and strengths of our program participants. You will act as a liaison with employers, public and private employment agencies, and internal Goodwill teams to secure meaningful community employment and supported education.
Your day-to-day involves managing a caseload of 20-30 individuals, providing comprehensive support from career exploration and job preparation to on-the-job coaching and retention. You will collaborate closely with Treatment Teams to implement Recovery Plans of Care, ensuring that employment goals align with each individual's broader well-being. As an ambassador for Goodwill, you will engage in community outreach, transition fairs, and employer site visits to promote our programs and foster a supportive network for our clients.
