About the Role

You will join the Emergency Department at Baptist Neighborhood Hospitals in San Antonio, Texas. These facilities are not freestanding emergency departments but "micro-hospitals" offering inpatient services and 24/7 emergency medical care. Each facility is distinguished by streamlined admitting procedures, highly qualified physicians and medical specialists at every level of care, and the latest diagnostic equipment.

The role involves rotating shifts between multiple Baptist Neighborhood Hospital locations, including Zarzamora, Kelly, Westover, Hausman, Shavano, Thousand Oaks, Overlook, and Schertz. At the busy Zarzamora location, situated on the southwest side of San Antonio, you will work in an environment with 37,000 annual ED visits, 21 ED beds, and 8 inpatient beds. You will work 12-hour shifts with 24 hours of physician coverage per day plus Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support.
