The Baptist Neighborhood Hospitals in San Antonio are not freestanding emergency departments but "micro-hospitals" offering inpatient services and 24/7 emergency medical care. Distinguished by streamlined admitting procedures, highly qualified clinicians, and access to the latest diagnostic equipment, these facilities are designed to deliver high-quality care. The Converse location is a brand-new facility constructed in 2023, featuring 10 ED beds and serving a volume of 16,000 patients annually.
You will join a team of medical specialists at every level of care, rotating shifts between various Baptist Neighborhood Hospital locations in the San Antonio area. This role offers the unique opportunity to practice in a brand-new facility with a staffing model that includes 12-hour shifts and 24-hour physician coverage daily. You will have access to evidence-based Clinical Management Tools and experienced physicians available 24/7/365 for bedside support, ensuring you are never alone in your practice.
