About the Role

This opportunity places you in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department that opened in 2021, serving an annual volume of 75,000 patients. The facility is equipped with 81 ED beds, dedicated imaging and laboratory services, and advanced trauma rooms. The department operates 24/7 with physician staffing supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and scribes, catering to patients of all ages.

While the ED handles a broad range of acute care, complex cases such as burns, amputations, and select high-risk OB cases are transferred to specialized facilities. You will work within an Epic EMR environment, collaborating with a dedicated team to manage high-volume patient care in a modern setting.

Hiring Process & Application

Delta Locum Tenens will assist with all travel arrangements and credentialing requirements. Malpractice coverage is provided for this position. To proceed, candidates must hold an active South Carolina license, an active South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR), and a DEA registration valid within the state. Board certification (ABEM) is required, or candidates must be truly Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of completing residency).
