As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will be a vital part of our field team, ensuring top-tier patient care in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to deliver compassionate care, recognizing and treating medical conditions using appropriate techniques and knowledge of all State and County protocols.
Your day will involve responding promptly to assignments from the Dispatch Center, conducting yourself in a courteous and professional manner with patients, co-workers, and the public, and providing safe medical transport to facilities. You will take ownership of your ambulance rig, maintaining cleanliness and stocking supplies, while preparing and submitting detailed pre-hospital patient care reports. Flexibility is key, as emergency services operate on a 24-hour clock, and you will be expected to work shifts that may vary due to the nature of the business.
