CACI's Business and Information Technology Solutions (BITS) Sector is seeking an Emergency Communications Analyst/Specialist to support the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS). This role is essential to the mission of ensuring the safety of our nation by providing integrated services to federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial authorities. You will be part of a high-performing team dedicated to evolving how communities are alerted and warned through multiple communication pathways.
While this specific description represents a consistent opportunity within CACI rather than an immediate opening, it reflects the core mission of the team. Successful candidates will join a culture where character and innovation are central to everything we do, working in a continuous operation environment to support critical national infrastructure.
In this position, you will serve as a vital conduit for situational awareness, analyzing and vetting information from open-source media and internal software to keep leadership informed. Your day-to-day involves providing 24/7 technical assistance and subject matter expertise to IPAWS Alerting Authorities and vendors, troubleshooting errant messages, and issuing Alerts on Behalf (AOB).
You will manage legacy alerting technologies while identifying emerging solutions to advance emergency communications. The role requires a blend of technical troubleshooting, documentation, and education. You will lead or support virtual and in-person training on emergency communication fundamentals, conduct demonstrations at industry events, and produce Standard Operating Procedures and professional correspondence. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with customer support, engineering, and vendors to resolve end-user errors and drive issues to resolution.
At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of our operations. As a team member, you will enjoy an environment of trust that values your unique contributions. We offer the autonomy to take the time you need through a unique flexible time off benefit and provide access to robust learning resources to help you achieve your ambitions.
We are focused on continuous growth, offering opportunities to break new ground in your career while advancing our nation's most critical missions. Our employees value the flexibility that allows them to balance quality work with their personal lives, supported by a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, wellness, financial, and retirement options.
Please note that this position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, individuals who apply may be considered for other similar positions at CACI that are consistently available. If you are a motivated team player looking to be part of an essential mission, we encourage you to submit your application.
