As a Kindergarten Teacher at Randall Carter Elementary School, you will serve as a foundational guide for young learners during their most critical years of development. This role exists to ensure that every student receives a warm, engaging, and standards-aligned introduction to formal education. Working under the guidance of the Building Principal, you will be responsible for creating a classroom culture that balances structure with the flexibility needed to meet the diverse needs of early childhood learners.
Your day will be filled with planning age-appropriate lessons that ignite curiosity and foster a love for learning. You will differentiate instruction to support students at all ability levels, ensuring that every child, including those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), feels seen and supported. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate closely with colleagues, communicate regularly with families about student progress, and participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early education.
