About the Role
This position serves as a cornerstone of the instructional process, dedicated to fostering a safe, positive, and effective learning environment for all students. As a Regular Education Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising students within the classroom and assigned areas, ensuring that every learner receives the support they need to succeed.
The role is designed to bridge the gap between established curriculum guidelines and individual student needs. You will develop comprehensive lesson plans and deliver instruction that addresses diverse learning styles, while collaborating closely with fellow teachers, professional staff, and administrators to resolve instructional challenges. A key aspect of this position involves building strong partnerships with parents and guardians, responding to their inquiries regarding the instructional program and providing clear updates on individual student progress.
Reporting directly to the Principal, you will operate in compliance with directives from School Administration, Board of Education policies, and all relevant state and federal laws. Your day-to-day impact will be felt through the management of classroom operations, the supervision of assistant teachers and volunteers, and the active counseling of students to enhance their academic performance, behavior, and problem-solving skills.
