The Heart Center is dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care within a high-activity, fast-paced environment. Our team works collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes through advanced diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. We foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and patient advocacy, where every member plays a vital role in supporting the medical staff and the patients they serve.
As an Electrophysiology Lab Technician, you will serve as a critical partner to Electrophysiologists, nurses, and anesthesia providers. Your primary mission is to assist in the performance of complex procedures while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their journey. You will act as a patient advocate, providing psychological and physical support during invasive interventions and responding to emergency situations with composure.
In this role, you will navigate a dynamic day-to-day workflow that includes preparing procedure rooms, maintaining sterile environments, and operating sophisticated medical equipment. From setting up fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring systems to assisting physicians with catheter manipulation, your technical expertise and attention to detail are essential. You will also manage inventory, ensure equipment quality control, and maintain accurate documentation of case progressions and patient data. This position requires adaptability to evolving technologies and the ability to function effectively within a late team schedule to meet the needs of our patients.
Qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other legally-protected status. The health system is committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
