You will serve as a vital link between our laboratory standards and our customers' operational needs, ensuring that electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment performs within precise tolerances.
In this position, you will calibrate a variety of test instruments and perform standards maintenance as assigned by the Lab Manager. Your day-to-day involves collecting calibration data, recording information on data sheets, and completing calibration certifications, including documenting any out-of-tolerance conditions. You will be expected to continuously train in all aspects of Micro Precision Calibration Services, sharing gained knowledge and best practices with your team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Safety and quality are paramount in our workflow. You will observe strict safety precautions and quality standards while performing tasks. Clear communication is essential, as you will frequently discuss calibration issues and procedures with customers and coworkers via phone, in person, and through email. This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will perform tasks both in the local laboratory and at customer facilities, with up to 25% of your time potentially involving overnight travel.
