We are seeking an Electronic Technician to support our manufacturing test department in Buffalo, New York. In this onsite role, you will test components for Electronic Warfare simulation systems and perform necessary assembly duties. This position operates on the 2nd Shift, from 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
You will work closely with development engineering activities, utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot, test, and assemble electronics and electro-mechanical systems. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing malfunctions down to the component level, conducting prototype building and environmental testing, and collecting data for engineering tasks. Success in this role requires manual dexterity for handling small parts and the ability to interpret schematics and diagrams to ensure systems conform to design specifications.

Education: Associate's degree in an electronic field of study plus 2 years of related experience.
Hands-on use of drawings, wire lists, source control drawings, or test procedures. Experience working with microelectronics and performing tuning under a microscope. Experience working with engineering teams. Experience with soldering and electronic assembly processes. Working knowledge of defense electronics, with a preference for Electronic Warfare systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in a performance-based and metrics-driven culture.
