We are seeking an Electronic Technician B (T-4) to support our government customer in Kekaha, Hawaiʻi. In this role, you will independently operate and maintain critical Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower electronics systems, including URN 32 TACAN, ASOS, Enhanced Terminal Voice Switch (ETVS), Digital Audio Legal Recorders (DALR), and CM 300 radios.
You will serve as the technical backbone for airfield operations, managing systems that deliver voice, video, and data transport over copper, fiber, and wireless networks. Your day-to-day involves troubleshooting complex electronic and mechanical schematics, calibrating new equipment, and ensuring the reliability of Visual Information Display Systems (VIDS) and Wind Speed/Direction Indicators. You will also represent Airfield systems during formal Navy inspections, assist in developing new procedures, and mentor junior technicians.
This position requires a blend of shop-based precision and field readiness. You will work in an electronics shop environment but must be prepared to climb elevated towers, navigate sub-floor areas, and perform maintenance in confined spaces to keep airfield operations running smoothly.
Candidates selected for this role must be U.S. Citizens and possess a Secret security clearance. Applicants who do not currently hold a clearance will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements prior to employment commencement.
