Join us as an Electrical Engineer where you will design test equipment to test circuit boards. You will work with a team of engineers for the development of Special Test Equipment that requires research and system development for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including Avionics, Control Systems, Telemetry, Electro-Optical, and Radiation Detection Equipment. This role involves interfacing with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, validation, and field tests, ensuring that complex analog and digital data acquisition and control systems function correctly.
This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Sunnyvale, CA. You will work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time. Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees, offering condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Understanding of Engineering Circuit fundamentals (analog & digital) and product configuration control processes. Experience with wire harness design, electronics assembly development and integration, troubleshooting, root cause isolation, and developing test plans & procedures. Familiarity with operating electrical/electronic test equipment. Experience using schematic/cabling drafting tools and 3D modeling tools centered in model-based engineering. Ability to perform hardware engineering best practices including requirements analysis, design, and test & integration. Experience collaborating with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and specialty engineers to develop unique cables. Experience with interactions, planning, and coordination with cross-functional development teams and internal & external customers across multiple disciplines.
