You will support the manufacturing team by testing, troubleshooting, and validating RF communication products and electronic assemblies to ensure they meet performance and quality requirements. This role is responsible for operating test equipment, executing production test procedures, identifying and resolving technical issues, documenting results, and working closely with engineering, quality, and production teams.
In this position, you will perform functional, RF, and environmental testing of circuit boards and top-level assemblies, utilizing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and power meters. You will troubleshoot and diagnose failures at the component, board, and system level, while maintaining accurate documentation that proves testing has been carried out in accordance with internal quality systems or regulations. Additionally, you will aid in developing product test instructions and standard operating procedures, maintain test equipment calibration status, and train other Metrea employees on testing, reading schematics, and troubleshooting RF circuits.
