This Process Support Engineer position is located within the development wafer fab of the Microelectronics / Module Design & Foundry Services Department. The role serves as a critical bridge between engineering teams and the physical fabrication process, ensuring the Raytheon semiconductor foundry operates at peak efficiency.
In this onsite capacity, you will be the hands-on expert in the cleanroom environment. Your day will involve processing wafers through complex stages including photolithography, metals deposition, wet chemistry processing, and visual inspection. Beyond execution, you will maintain process equipment, document measurement results, and communicate findings effectively to engineers. A unique aspect of this role involves collaborating with external partners; you will visit nearby universities and labs weekly to utilize specialized equipment for prototyping and experiments on next-generation technologies.

Understanding of semiconductor processing techniques and equipment (through coursework or hands-on lab experience). Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Desire to learn new wafer fabrication skills and willingness to assist team members. Knowledge of III-V semiconductors, preferably Gallium Arsenide and Gallium Nitride. Desire to work in a team within a semiconductor cleanroom environment.
