About the Role
As a Teacher, you will assist students in mastering subject matter and skills under the general supervision of the school Principal. Your primary goal is to foster student development by creating a classroom environment conducive to learning that aligns with the maturity and interests of your pupils.
In this role, you will establish clear objectives for all classroom activities and employ instructional methods that best meet those goals. You will continuously assess student accomplishments, analyze individual progress, and provide necessary assistance or remedial action. The position requires active cooperation with staff to plan instructional goals and the supervision of teacher aides and volunteers.
Beyond the classroom, you will serve as a vital link between the school and families by seeking parental cooperation through communication and home visits. You are also expected to maintain accurate records, uphold school rules, and present a positive image of Spartanburg School District Two at all times.
