About the Role

As an EKG Stress Test Nurse, you will serve as a vital link between patients and our cardiology team. This role is designed for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is passionate about cardiac care. You will focus on performing and monitoring cardiac stress tests, obtaining and reviewing EKGs, and providing a reassuring presence to patients undergoing diagnostic procedures.

Your day will involve assessing and preparing patients before, during, and after stress testing, while administering necessary medications and IV therapy under physician protocols. You will continuously monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to any changes, and ensuring accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Beyond clinical duties, you will collaborate closely with cardiologists, technicians, and interdisciplinary team members to maintain a safe testing environment and uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient education.
