Howmet Aerospace's Hampton, VA, IN facility is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. This position is a key member of the location's EHS team, operating within an environment defined by our company's EHS values and leadership's commitment to delivering results.
In this role, you will drive environmental stewardship by developing and executing management systems that ensure compliance with all Howmet and governmental regulations. You will manage all environmental issues, regulatory reports, and permits across disciplines including air, wastewater, storm water, chemical, and waste disposal/recycling. As the aerospace industry experiences rapid growth, you will lead cross-functional teams to implement environmental improvement projects, evaluating processes to optimize, minimize, or eliminate waste and reduce water usage. This position offers an excellent environment to work and deliver results while supporting the company's sustainability goals and developing best practices.
