As an RN Educator, you will serve as a vital link between clinical practice and professional development. Your primary mission is to design, organize, and evaluate evidence-based educational programs that support the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals. By facilitating the professional growth and skill development of nursing staff, you will directly enhance the standards of patient care.
In this role, you will act as a clinical expert and role model, collaborating with interdisciplinary colleagues to address complex patient care issues and assist staff with clinical decision-making. You will foster an environment consistent with core concepts of Patient and Family Centered Care, incorporating respect for cultural diversity and individual patient needs. Your work will involve integrating current evidence-based knowledge into educational programming and promoting lifelong learning among bedside nursing staff through mentoring and study groups.
