As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will perform vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations under general supervision. Your role is vital in analyzing digitized ECG tapes, Holter monitoring, and cardiac ultrasound data to generate quantitative arrhythmia reports. You will be the bridge between complex diagnostic equipment and patient care, ensuring accurate data collection while maintaining a calm environment for those undergoing testing.
In your day-to-day, you will conduct diagnostic cardiovascular and echocardiography exams, locating internal body elements to identify anomalies indicative of disease or injury. You will manage a variety of evaluations, including exercise tolerance tests, stress tests, and transesophageal echocardiography.
