About the Role

This position is designed for a skilled professional to perform a wide range of cardiac and vascular ultrasound exams. You will be a vital part of the Vascular Laboratory team, providing essential diagnostic support in both in-patient and out-patient settings. The role requires independent judgment to accurately differentiate between normal and abnormal findings while adhering to IAC-approved scanning protocols.

Your day will involve operating various modalities of echocardiography and peripheral vascular studies, including duplex imaging and Doppler procedures. You will assist physicians with TEE procedures, review images and paperwork to ensure thoroughness, and manage the daily workflow by monitoring the sonographer worklist. The role also includes rotating between multiple lab locations, participating in after-hours and on-call services, and maintaining equipment and work areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
