About the Role
We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver in Sparks, NV to operate a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at customer sites. This role involves driving vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, alongside performing essential non-driving duties associated with hazardous waste clean-up.
You will be part of a team atmosphere where everyone helps, operating commercial trucks and assisting field laborers as needed. Your day will include loading and unloading trucks, performing manual labor to fulfill customer needs, and ensuring proper placarding to meet Company and DOT requirements. You will maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports while adhering to all local, state, provincial, and federal compliance regulations.
This position requires the ability to be on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week. You will also be responsible for site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials in accordance with corporate operating guidelines and environmental health and safety standards.
