As a Lyft driver, you are the face of our community and a crucial partner in ensuring every passenger has a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality experience. This role offers you the flexibility to be your own boss, allowing you to choose your own hours and drive in the areas that suit your lifestyle best. Whether you are providing smooth, quick transportation within the city or taking passengers on longer trips, your driving connects people to their destinations.

You will use Lyft's innovative mobile app platform to seamlessly connect with riders, navigate to their locations, and handle payments. Beyond just driving, you are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism and hospitality, ensuring that every interaction leaves a positive impression. Your ability to handle conflicts or discrepancies with grace and your commitment to basic vehicle maintenance checks are key to maintaining the trust our riders place in us.

Application Instructions

To join our team, you must possess a valid driver's license held for at least one year and own a vehicle that meets or exceeds community safety standards and regulations. Additionally, you will need a smartphone compatible with the Lyft app (Android or iOS). All candidates are required to pass a background check and a driving record check before beginning to drive.
