As a Driller's Helper, you will play a vital role in geotechnical exploration by assisting the driller in solid stem and hollow stem auger drilling, rock coring, mud rotary drilling, and other advancement techniques. Your work is essential for determining soil characteristics on construction sites through site investigation and drilling.
Beyond drilling, you will support the installation of critical monitoring equipment, including monitoring wells, slope inclinometers, vibrating wire piezometers, and settlement sensors. This role requires you to move, set up, and operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for these investigations. The work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions and is generally physically demanding, requiring a hands-on approach to field operations.
