This part-time position serves as a vital link in our donation ecosystem, supporting our mission to welcome and train vulnerable adults in the workplace. You will be the first point of contact for donors, helping them navigate donation trailers and store drop-offs while ensuring our receiving operations run smoothly. The role is designed for individuals who thrive on variety, enjoying a day that shifts between customer interaction, physical logistics, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.
You will work alongside truck drivers to load and unload trailers, sort donations for efficient transport and pricing, and move materials throughout the store and warehouse using company equipment. This is an active role that requires comfort working outdoors in varying temperatures and in environments where you may get dirty. Your presence helps keep our donation sites and receiving docks clean and ready for the next wave of community contributions.
Based in the Tri-Cities, WA area, this role offers flexibility across several donation sites. Because the needs of our business fluctuate, your schedule will be dependent on operational requirements. Please be prepared to work evenings and weekends to support our community partners.
To apply, please complete all online screening questions; incomplete applications cannot be processed. This step is essential for us to get to know you better. Once submitted, Goodwill will contact you directly via the email address provided.
As part of our commitment to safety and our mission to support vulnerable adults, a background check is conducted for finalist candidates. Each finalist will receive a copy of their report directly from the third-party agency, along with a description of their rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and dispute instructions. Please note that candidates with specific automatic disqualifying pending charges or convictions, as defined by WAC 388-113-0020, cannot be hired.
We are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to creating a supportive workplace. We welcome and train vulnerable adults, fostering an inclusive environment where diverse backgrounds and experiences are valued.
