About the Opportunity
The University of Sioux Falls Doctoral Program in Leadership is pleased to extend conditional appointments to qualified individuals invited to serve on doctoral committees. These roles are designed to support EdD candidates through the dissertation process, providing guidance, scholarly expertise, and mentorship as students design and complete their research in practice.
Appointments are made on a per-student basis and typically span the proposal, research, and final defense phases. Committee members may serve in one of three capacities—Chair, Practitioner, or Second Reader—depending on their specific experience and the program's needs.

- Background Check: You will receive an email from our third-party vendor with a link to complete a background check. This must be approved before your appointment is finalized.
- Submit Required Documents: To expedite processing, upload the following items:
- Current Curriculum Vitae (CV) or résumé.
- A completed IRS W-9 form.
- Official transcripts from your latest university (sent directly to usfpayroll@usiouxfalls.edu or mailed to USF Human Resources – Payroll, 1101 W 22nd St, Sioux Falls, SD 57105).
- Final Onboarding: Once your background check and credential verification are approved, you will receive additional onboarding materials via DocuSign.
