Omnicare®, a CVS Health company, is a national leading provider of pharmacy services to the long-term care market, which includes skilled nursing facilities and independent and assisted living communities. We address the needs of an aging population across the continuum of senior care, providing a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long-term care facilities and other customers in the healthcare environment.
This role is based in a closed-door Long Term Care facility (non-customer-facing). As a pharmacist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Omnicare patients, providers, and business within an exciting, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.
You will ensure the continuation of pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. This position involves providing routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. We are looking for someone with a phenomenal work ethic to provide outstanding service and ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer both efficiently and safely.
As an integral member of the pharmacy team, your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service. The most successful pharmacists demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to prioritize the workflow in a multifaceted environment where you can show your passion for helping others.
