We are seeking a Part Time Operations Associate/Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team at the Baystate Main Campus in Springfield, MA. Reporting to the Nurse Manager with daily coordination by the Charge Nurse, this role serves as a vital business partner to the department and clinical staff.
You will independently work with patient and family-centered care teams to ensure smooth unit operations. Your day involves managing patient information, organizing medical records, and facilitating bed management and patient throughput. You will act as a receptionist for visitors, orient patients and families to the unit, and serve as a resource for hospitalist and teaching teams. Additionally, you will observe cardiac monitors, identify irregular rhythms, and process EKG strips for defined cardiac patient populations.
This is a part-time position (24 hours/week) located at the Springfield 3 Unit. The role operates on the 3rd shift, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring two shifts per week with rotating days and weekends.
