The role involves a dynamic mix of manual labor and attention to detail, from washing dishes by hand or machine to managing waste disposal and restocking supplies.
Day in the Life
Your day will be fast-paced and physically active. You will spend significant time standing while washing dishes, glassware, and cookware, ensuring they are spotless before being returned to storage. Beyond dishwashing, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall order of the kitchen, sweeping floors, and cleaning garbage cans. You may also assist with food preparation tasks, such as packaging individual place settings or sorting supplies. The role requires flexibility, as you will often need to work nights and weekends to support restaurant operations.
