About the Role
This position is for those who love keeping plate ware, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils clean and sanitized. You will be the backbone of our dish room, responsible for maintaining the dish machine, the prep area, and all adjacent equipment. If you are super tidy and take pride in a well-organized workspace, this role is designed for you.
In this position, you will sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, and utensils, placing them in racks for the dish machine. You will also wash pots, pans, and trays, fill and empty soak tubs with cleaning solutions, and assemble or disassemble the dish machine as required. Your day will involve sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down workstations, walls, and furniture, and removing trash. You will sort and stack clean dishes, carrying them to the cook's line and proper storage areas, while ensuring you are familiar with the chemicals used in daily cleaning procedures.
