As a Classified Administrator in the District Office, you will serve as a strategic leader for our network operations and technology infrastructure. This role exists to ensure the seamless functioning of the district's technological backbone, supporting both educational initiatives and business administration. You will direct, maintain, and administer all network operations, establishing the policies and long-range plans necessary to fulfill the district's evolving needs.
In this position, you will act as a bridge between technical requirements and district goals. You will design and maintain Wide and Local Area Networks, implement the District Technology Plan, and manage the computer systems within the Business Administration Office, including critical tasks like payroll restoration and file security. Beyond technical oversight, you will supervise departmental staff, develop project specifications with management, and assist in creating technology course content. Your day will involve conferring with consultants and manufacturers, monitoring system development, and troubleshooting complex operational issues to keep the district running smoothly.
The position is scheduled to start on July 2, 2026, though the final determination of the start date will be confirmed directly with the hiring manager. Candidates selected for this role will join a team dedicated to racial equity and social justice.
