About the Role
The Programmer Analyst serves as a vital technical and procedural partner within the Information Technology Services & Support team, reporting to the Executive Director. This role exists to ensure the seamless operation of district-wide software systems across critical functional areas including finance, human resources, student services, and financial aid.
In this position, you will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs. Your day-to-day involves analyzing business processes, identifying system inefficiencies, and designing cost-efficient solutions. You will work within a structured relational database and networked application environment, utilizing project management principles and the software development life cycle to support the design, development, and maintenance of applications. Beyond development, you will be a key educator, providing technical training to users to encourage technological competence and confidence throughout the institution.
