Based at Toledo Hospital within the Patient Care Administration department, this full-time position serves as a pivotal leader for the Department of Surgical Services. The role is responsible for planning and directing daily operations to effectively coordinate corporate, hospital, and unit goals. You will provide essential leadership, direction, and guidance to a diverse team encompassing PreOp, PACU, Operating Rooms, Sterile Processing, Preadmissions Clinic, Short Stay Unit, Endoscopy, and select Outpatient/Ambulatory services.
This position requires a strong background in perioperative nursing, with a focus on ensuring safe patient handling and adherence to standard precautions. The role involves navigating complex working conditions, including exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens, while managing the physical demands of moving about the hospital and handling equipment.
