About the Team
The Director, Strategy & Planning sits within TransUnion's Global Technology, Data & Analytics organization, reporting directly to the VP of Strategy & Planning. This role serves as a strategic partner to senior Technology and Engineering leaders, tasked with defining, shaping, and executing the company's technology strategy. The Strategy & Planning team is pivotal in driving enterprise transformation initiatives, ensuring that strategic priorities are tightly aligned with execution and measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePartner with Technology, Engineering, Product, and Data & Analytics leaders to shape and execute enterprise technology strategy
- check_circleTranslate complex technology and engineering concepts into clear, concise executive-level narratives and presentations
- check_circleSupport strategic planning initiatives including long-range planning, investment prioritization, and transformation programs
- check_circleDevelop high-quality materials for the Board, C-Suite, and senior leaders including executive summaries and presentations
- check_circleDrive cross-functional execution of key strategic initiatives with clear milestones and outcomes
- check_circleApply analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate business opportunities and technology investments
- check_circleManage multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring deliverables are produced on time and at executive quality standards
Requirements
- verified10–15 years of experience in strategy and planning roles
- verifiedAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- verifiedExceptional presentation-building and executive storytelling skills
Nice to Have
Experience supporting large-scale transformation initiatives. Technology, engineering, or cloud-based platform exposure. Strong project management and organizational skills in fast-paced environments.
