About the Team

Fidelity Digital Assets®, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Adopting an entrepreneurial culture and startup approach within one of Fidelity's most innovative business units, our global, diverse team of forward-thinking professionals leads with agility to bridge the gap between traditional institutional investors and their exposure to digital assets.

Within this ecosystem, the Technical Operations team plays a pivotal role in our cloud migration initiative. We utilize AWS services to secure our network and scale applications, ensuring high uptime. Our team consists of hands-on engineers specializing in system reliability who champion a DevOps approach, with a strong focus on infrastructure-as-code, security, and automation.

About the Role

As a Director within the TechOps SRE team, you will work closely with engineering partners to drive initiatives from design to implementation. Our highly available, multi-region Kubernetes (AWS EKS) environments are best-in-class and central to our enterprise-grade infrastructure strategy, currently supporting numerous critical workloads.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills while collaborating across numerous Fidelity teams in a fun, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. You will have a direct impact on emerging infrastructure and deployment strategies while enabling business expansion. Beyond technical leadership, this position includes supervisory responsibilities for a small group of Site Reliability Engineers, where you will foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
