About the Role

The Director, Revenue Cycle Management serves as a strategic leader within the medical oncology division, overseeing all billing, collections, and accounts receivable (AR) operations. This role exists to ensure timely and accurate claim submission, protect reimbursement, and minimize AR delays that could impact financial performance. You will spearhead the development and adoption of new technologies while fostering operational excellence and collaboration across clinical, operations, and financial teams. Reporting to the VP of Revenue Cycle Management and Payer Strategy, you will drive a best-in-class RCM culture capable of scaling with the organization's growth.

check_circleEnsure timely and accurate payment posting, contractual adjustments, denial posting, and reconciliation to support accurate AR

check_circleDevelop and implement strategies to safeguard reimbursement through proactive AR management and payer follow-up
check_circleMonitor KPIs such as days in AR, clean claim rate, denial trends, and reimbursement turnaround
check_circleDrive continuous process improvement and technology optimization to enhance revenue integrity and operational efficiency

Requirements

verifiedBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance, or related field
verifiedMinimum of 7 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management
verifiedAt least 5 years of medical oncology experience
verifiedExperience with payment posting (ERA/EOB)
verifiedExperience with oncology-specific EMRs and billing systems (e.g., ARIA, Centricity, OncoEMR, Availity)
verifiedStrong knowledge of payer regulations, compliance standards, and reimbursement methodologies
