Founded in 1898, Des Moines University (DMU) is a premier medical and health sciences institution comprising three colleges: the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, and the College of Health Sciences. Our new research facilities include a vibrant and spacious open laboratory designed to foster collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleLead full revenue cycle transformation including assessment and elimination of revenue leakage
- check_circleDrive financial performance by developing executive dashboards and managing key revenue KPIs
- check_circleOptimize processes and workflows by standardizing SOPs and strengthening EMR systems
- check_circleEnsure regulatory compliance as HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer leading risk assessments and audits
- check_circleOwn end-to-end revenue cycle operations covering charge capture, coding, claims, and collections
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- verifiedFive or more years of healthcare revenue cycle management experience
- verifiedExperience in a multispecialty or complex physician practice
- verifiedExperience supervising billing teams
- verifiedDeep knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and payer guidelines
- verifiedExperience with EMR and practice management systems
- verifiedCPC, CPB, CRCR, or similar certification
