The Production Engineering Director is a critical member of Osmose's Underground Services business unit. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Safety, leading a 10-person diverse team. The team's responsibilities span supply chain management, manufacturing, engineering, and fleet management, ensuring the continuity of the Test Platforms' full life cycle.
This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for managing hardware, software, and process projects from conception to completion. The Director will stay deeply engaged with the Business to identify new services, products, and capabilities, while collaborating with Operations to enhance existing platforms for safety, productivity, and quality.
The role requires balancing competing priorities between Operations (providing technical field support), Production (manufacturing and repairs/maintenance), and Engineering (life cycle management and compliance). You will drive the development of a vision, roadmap, and organizational technology plan, ensuring Test Platform capacity aligns with business demand. As a member of the Management team, you will set annual goals, manage vendor partnerships, and establish a Center of Excellence through robust policies and standards.
