The Director of Pharmacy serves as the strategic leader for pharmaceutical services within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role is vital to ensuring the highest quality of patient care by managing the daily operations of the Pharmacy Department and maintaining essential liaisons with outside groups and agencies.
In this position, you will not only perform the duties of a Staff Pharmacist but also lead a team of supervisors and staff. Your day-to-day impact involves building employee engagement, overseeing talent assessment and succession planning, and driving process improvements to enhance service quality, productivity, and cost effectiveness. You will work collaboratively to develop departmental objectives that align with established standards from the Joint Commission, the Department of Health, and the Board of Pharmacy.
