About the Role
The Director of Pharmacy Services is a strategic leader responsible for developing and coordinating the operation of Pharmacy Services across the BILH system. This role exists to enhance quality patient care while promoting fiscal responsibility in the utilization of resources. You will direct the full spectrum of pharmacy activities, from purchasing and storage to the distribution of medications, ensuring the safe and appropriate delivery of care to all patient areas.
In this position, you will serve as a professional resource for physicians, clinical staff, and administration, collaborating to integrate services and improve patient care. You will lead quality improvement efforts, define and resolve issues within the medication distribution system, and ensure strict regulatory compliance, including the optimization of the 340B program. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing human resources, fostering a cohesive team committed to distributive, clinical, and service excellence, and driving the department's success within the broader strategic plan of BID Plymouth and the BILH System.
