This position leads the Meetings & Special Events division, serving as a strategic partner in developing and implementing departmental goals. The role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless turnover between sales and operations, guaranteeing that all property events align with the brand's service strategy and initiatives.
The focus extends beyond execution to driving financial performance. You will be responsible for growing event revenues, maximizing the department's financial health, and ensuring the team meets target customer needs while fostering high employee satisfaction. The role involves consulting with customers to define objectives for meetings, conferences, and conventions, creating an atmosphere that consistently exceeds guest expectations.
Candidates are invited to apply with a background in event management, food and beverage, sales, or marketing. The ideal profile includes a high school diploma or GED with four years of experience, or a 2-year degree in a related field with two years of experience.
