The Director of Institutional Giving serves as the strategic leader for all foundation, corporate, union, government, and institutional giving. Reporting directly to the Chief Advancement Officer and supervising a full-time Institutional Giving Associate, this role is responsible for setting annual goals and securing restricted funding for campaigns and special projects.
In this position, you will develop a comprehensive institutional giving strategy, establish annual projections, and manage a robust portfolio of donors. Your day-to-day involves cultivating strong relationships, providing regular stewardship, and ensuring timely reporting to funders. You will lead research on prospective donors, prepare compelling materials to secure support, and maintain a tracking system for all grants. This role requires upholding the Fund's mission and values in all external interactions while collaborating with colleagues throughout the organization to grow the institutional giving portfolio.
