Director of Finance

About the Role

The Director of Finance (DOF) serves as the strategic financial leader for the MVP Arena and Parking Garage, overseeing all finance and accounting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the venue by managing the Finance Department and Box Office teams in alignment with Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Working closely with the General Manager and the Regional Director of Finance, the DOF provides the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation necessary to maintain operational excellence and compliance.

Day in the Life

In this capacity, you will manage the full spectrum of financial operations, from preparing monthly financial statements and annual budgets to overseeing daily accounting processes like payroll, accounts payable, and receivables. You will analyze balance sheets and P&L figures to identify performance trends, offering strategic advice to senior management based on these insights. The role requires active collaboration with the Risk Management Department and insurance brokers to safeguard company assets, as well as working directly with outside auditors. As an Executive on Duty when required, you will also build solid working relationships with business and department leaders to drive the facility's goals forward.
