Our client is a prominent national Litigation Support company dedicated to empowering legal professionals with essential tools and services. The organization operates within the fast-paced legal vertical, serving law firms, corporate legal departments, and insurance accounts.
The Director of Business Development serves as a strategic partner to the firm, tasked with maintaining and growing an assigned territory. This role is designed to bridge the gap between complex litigation support solutions and the professionals who need them most. The position requires building and nurturing relationships at all levels, from paralegals and legal secretaries to attorneys and partners.
In this role, you will drive revenue by selling litigation support services, leveraging deep product knowledge and a clear understanding of pricing and proposal models. A significant portion of the day involves maximizing existing client relationships to expand the portfolio, training clients on the use of various tools, and sourcing new referrals. You will also play an active role in implementing company marketing plans and ensuring accurate record-keeping of all sales activities.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to hit the ground running. Success in this position requires reliable transportation, a clean driving record, and the flexibility to travel as required by territory boundaries. While experience in the legal vertical is highly valued, a Juris Doctor (JD) is preferred but not required.
